A Stunning Beachfront Celebration in Puerto Morelos
Nestled just south of Cancún, the NOW Sapphire resort is one of the Riviera Maya’s most breathtaking wedding destinations. With soft white sand, turquoise waters, and palm-lined ceremony spaces, it provides the perfect setting for couples dreaming of a luxury destination wedding. As Riviera Maya wedding photographers and videographers, we love capturing weddings at NOW Sapphire — every angle offers a cinematic backdrop for both photos and video.
Getting Ready Moments
Joelle and Tyson began their day surrounded by excitement and laughter. We captured the emotional bridal preparations and all the elegant details of the dress before heading out for portraits. The groom’s candid moments with his groomsmen set a lighthearted tone, while the bride’s portraits in natural light highlighted her stunning beauty.
The Ceremony by the Caribbean Sea
The couple exchanged vows beneath a seaside canopy, with the Caribbean shimmering just beyond. One of the most heartfelt touches was their sand ceremony, a symbolic blending of two lives into one. These intimate details, along with their kiss framed by the ocean horizon, became timeless images in their wedding gallery.
Sunset Portraits & Reception Fun
After the vows, the celebration continued with golden-hour portraits — some playful, others deeply romantic — that perfectly captured the magic of the Riviera Maya sunset. Later, Joelle and Tyson danced the night away with their family and friends, the photos alive with color, energy, and joy.
Joelle & Tyson’s Review
“It didn’t take me long to feel assured I had chosen the right photographer. When I first contacted Moments That Matter Photography, they made me feel at ease, they were responsive, professional, and after viewing Lincoln’s portfolio, I knew I wanted him to shoot my wedding day! I got in touch with Lincoln just before we left Canada to confirm the details, and I knew I didn’t need to worry any further.
Lincoln called when he got to the resort and gave us a heads up that he and his assistant arrived and would be up to our rooms shortly. From the instant I met him, I knew he was going to make our day even more special. He was very casual, relaxed, kept things fun, and had lots of creative ideas. I was having so much fun with my bridesmaids and our photoshoot that I forgot about being nervous about having to walk down the aisle shortly.
The whole ceremony was beautiful, and both Lincoln and his photographer just did their thing. I honestly didn’t even know they were there. After the ceremony, we did a group shot and the formals, which Lincoln kept quick and organized just as planned (he even had my dad laughing for the photos with his amusing personality and jokes!). Then he took us away to do our bride and groom photoshoo,t which even surprisingly enough for a guy who doesn’t care for photos, my husband quite enjoyed himself. It was a lot of fun, he guided us on where and what he wanted us to do for the shots, and just let us be natural and act ourselves.
The only complaint I have is not hiring him for longer, as I was having way too much fun feeling like I had a paparazzi for a few hours. Lincoln made our day so easy, stress-free and kept it light and fun just like I imagined. I am so happy with how everything turned out and, of course, that I chose him to capture the ‘moments that matter’!”
