Wedding at Barcelo Maya Palace – Riviera Maya, Mexico
We hired Moments that Matter to capture our wedding day for an 8 hour photo package. We were very happy with the service we received from Lincoln and his team. We booked a silver package which means one of Lincolns associate photographers (Silvina) was supposed to shoot our wedding and the images would be edited by Lincoln. But we were lucky enough that Lincoln had an overbooking and he ended up coming to shoot our wedding himself with Silvina, so we were lucky for this! Lincoln and Silvina were fantastic and really made an effort to get the best shots. Everyone in our wedding group kept commenting on his professionalism but also he was down to earth and funny, got everyone laughing, so he could capture everyone in their natural state, which makes for the best photos! He also took us off the beaten path a bit for our newlywed photoshoot which made it possible for us to catch some beautiful sunset photos, which we wouldn’t have gotten if he didn’t take us to that location of the resort. It took around 2 months to get our photos back. We unfortunately had a rainy wedding day and did not have the beautiful blue sky as we had hoped. So Lincoln went above and beyond and edited some of my photos to try and get some natural looking blue sky photos which looked amazing. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lincoln and his team. The only thing I think he could have done differently was to pay attention to ask the Bride if they wanted their dress/hair etc a certain way. Some of the photos I would have liked the train of my dress laid out nicely, but with everything going on, I forgot to ask him to do this. It would have been nice to have him think of it. But this is just 1 small thing and something I just didn’t think of until afterwards. All in all, Lincoln and his team were fantastic and we are very happy with our wedding photos.

Amazing! I love everything about MTM! I am 110% satisfied with all of my pictures. They are something I will look back on in 20 years and still love just as much as I do today! Brides searching for a photographer, your search is over. I promise you! We got so lucky that we were able to have MTM Photography for our day, especially that we waited about two weeks before the wedding to change our first choice and go with someone else. From the moment they come in to your room all the way till they leave. You will feel so beautiful and comfortable. Its just like having friends take your photos that you've know for years. I wouldn't change a single thing about them, besides the fact I wish they were closer so they could do all our events for us in the future! I highly recommend you booking with them asap. Photography was the most important thing on my list for my day. And they over exceeded, my expectations!

Lincoln’s work was nothing but amazing! We booked him for our wedding day and a trash the dress session in the Cenote a couple days later. He and his team were extremely professional and really put you at easy/comfortable to work with. His wedding day photos told a story and not the typical “forced poses” (except the wedding formals, as expected) everything was very fluid and natural and the slide show told an amazing story of how the day went by. Despite the less than ideal sunny beach weather the photos turned out better than we could have imagined! We have gotten so many complements on our photos and it was definitely worth the price! Lincoln was very responsive to emails, was available for phone calls and we were able to communicate through WhatsApp once in Mexico. The whole booking process was very smooth! Bonus being a Canadian you can pay via email money transfers, which was very convenient for us. Thank you for everything! Wish you were closer, we’d book you for many other photo sessions

When looking for wedding photographers, Moments that Matter stood out as our top choice. We were extremely excited to hear that Lincoln and Silvina would be our wedding photographers. Being in Canada, planning a wedding in Mexico can be stressful when you have to iron out details over email. With Lincoln and Silvina, there was never any stress. Even the most mundane questions were answered seriously and promptly, and they were always very patient waiting for our responses. When the day finally came, our expectations were not met; they were far exceeded. Lincoln and Silvina arrived before they were scheduled, and got straight to work. I hear from my fiance (now wife!) that Silvina did a great job with the women getting ready, and it shows in the pictures. Lincoln has a unique combination of personality and professionalism, and a keen eye for capturing the moment. With Lincoln’s help, and in a matter of minutes, my groomsmen and I went from a slightly tired, slightly nervous, group to being relaxed and ready for a wedding. We were married in Playa del Carmen and our photographers were Lincoln and Silvina from MTM Photography. They were absolutely the best photographers anyone could have asked for! We were nervous at first since we have never met them or knew what they were like. But the moment the first photo was taken, we knew we chose the right people. We had a total of 90 guests so there were many faces to capture. Both Lincoln and Silvina would climb, sprawl, or do anything to get the right shot.
Best of all... They knew when to lead us and when to leave us be and take photos. For most of the time, I even forgot they were there until we received the photos and realized they captured the right moments at the right time. During group photos and solo shots, they were both very vocal in telling us what they wanted and what to do for poses. Just imagine telling 90 people to gather for pictures and doing that for 9+ hours.
Even when the time was done for them, they found some spots at the resort that they needed more photos of. They took the time and shot a few more shots and, one in particular, was everybody's most loved picture of us. They're honestly full of energy and smiles. We're so glad to have brought them in and do our photos rather than using the in-house recommendations. They absolutely go above and beyond what you're expecting. You can bet we'll be recommending them to all our friends and family!!
