From Sun to Snow

We had the opportunity to photograph Lauren & Dan for their wedding in the beautiful Mayan Riviera. It was a hot and sunny Mexican day, complete with a classic rain shower to add a touch of romance to the evening.

Later in the year, we reunited with them in Calgary, Canada, for a post-wedding adventure in the snow. Trading sandals for boots, they braved the –35°C chill with smiles, laughter, and plenty of love to keep them warm. Their session was a stunning contrast to their beach wedding — proving that romance shines just as brightly in the cold Canadian winter as it does under the Mexican sun.

Wrapped in cozy coats and scarves, Lauren & Dan turned a frozen park into their personal backdrop. From playful moments on park benches to quiet embraces under snow-dusted trees, every frame captured the warmth of their connection against the icy setting. We were referred to Moments That Matter by a friend who is in the business at home. We contacted Lincoln, and he replied to us immediately and started guiding us through the process. His rates were very reasonable, the photographers showed up to the venue early, and due to a few delays re. rain and late guests, they left well past the 5 hours we had booked them for. This was very admirable, and we are very thankful that they didn’t leave. The photographers made it their priority to capture our wedding. Not to go home on time. We could not be more pleased with the whole experience. We received our photos before expected and were incredibly happy. These memories will be treasured for our lifetime and hopefully longer.
