Every love story begins somewhere magical, and for Bridie and Ioan, it all started in July 2009 at a friend’s birthday party. After a few laughs (and a couple of drinks), Bridie worked up the courage to ask for Ioan’s number. Luckily, he was happy to share it, and less than a month later they realized they were the perfect match.

Just three years later, they moved into their first home, and soon after welcomed a new family member—Sky, their Springer Spaniel. In December 2015, Ioan planned a romantic night at home that ended with him on one knee, holding a black ring box. Without hesitation, Bridie said “YES!”

Planning a Dream Wedding in Mexico

Having already fallen in love with Mexico during a past trip, Bridie and Ioan knew it was the perfect place to celebrate their marriage. They chose the stunning Dreams Tulum as the backdrop for their big day, wanting both a romantic ceremony and a memorable holiday experience for family and friends.

To share the excitement, they even created a wedding website filled with slideshows, stories, and event details to make sure their guests felt part of the journey long before the celebrations began.
