Getting Ready
The day started at the beautiful Royalton Riviera Cancun with plenty of laughter and excitement. Melaina and her bridesmaids shared fun moments together in their matching robes, enjoying champagne and prepping for the big day. Eric and the groomsmen had just as much energy — joking around, helping each other with ties, and keeping the mood lighthearted. You can feel the anticipation in every image as both sides got ready for the celebration.
First Look
Before the ceremony, Melaina and Eric shared a quiet first look moment. Their reactions were priceless — full of smiles, joy, and pure love. Capturing their expressions as they saw each other for the first time in wedding attire was unforgettable and truly set the tone for the day.
Ceremony
The ceremony took place on the beach with the Caribbean Sea as the perfect backdrop. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, the couple exchanged vows under a beautifully decorated gazebo. The emotions ran high, and the photos capture both the laughter and the tears as the couple said “I do.”
Portraits & Sunset
After the ceremony, we took the couple around the property and down to the beach for portraits. The tropical setting gave us so many opportunities for stunning shots — from romantic moments by the shoreline to playful images with their wedding party. As the sun began to set, the sky filled with warm colors, creating the perfect canvas for breathtaking golden-hour portraits.
Reception Highlights
The evening was full of celebration! Guests danced the night away, shared heartfelt toasts, and enjoyed an incredible dinner overlooking the ocean. One of the highlights was the couple’s first dance, surrounded by friends and family cheering them on. From start to finish, the reception was a true reflection of Melaina & Eric’s love story — full of joy, energy, and unforgettable memories.
From beginning to end, working with MTM Photography was a breeze! E-mails were very quickly tended to before the wedding date, and the planning process was very easy. On the day of the wedding, our main photographer was Lincoln and his lovely wife, Silvina. We had an amazing day with them both. They sure aren't afraid of getting dirty and getting so many different creative shots. We would work with them again in a heartbeat, and will be sure to recommend them to anyone getting married in the Mayan Riviera. We got our pictures, and they're so great that it's hard to pick which ones to print and which ones to get enlarged.
